While the air’s still balmy and our cutoffs are still in rotation, it’s hard to resist the pull of fall. The layers! The knits! The boots! The boots, ah yes. No matter how many we already have, we’ll welcome a new pair with open arms (and fresh tights) every year. This season, we’re starting small — baby steps, right? — with flat booties. We’ll still wear them with our cutoffs, but they’re also great for wearing with skinnies and skirts when that Pumpkin Spice Latte starts showing up. Think it’s too soon? Stock up now before the stores sell out, because like gladiators in the summer and Wellies in the spring, those who hesitate are left empty handed.
