Rain, rain, go away. Because as much as we need the rain, isn’t a few days of showers enough? Angelenos are already experiencing major sandal withdrawal, and the opening of the new Havaianas Shop at the Fairfax Farmer’s Market (right next to the Grove, just in case you didn’t know) has us all itching to get into a new pair of flip flops.

If you’re brave enough to face the showers and head out to the shop, you’ll be greeted by an endless summer inspired by the markets and beaches of Brazil, where the brand was founded and still calls home. The new store is the very first spot on the West Coast to utilize the brand’s new Marketplace layout, which reflects the open-air marketplaces and beachside shopping destinations in Ipanema and beyond. Inside, you’ll find the entire collection of Havaianas, including the always-popular Brazilian-flag emblazoned designs. You’ll also be able to DIY your own pair no matter what time of year it is — the service is a pop-up shop regular, but now you’ve got a place to go whenever flip-flop fantasies strike you. And to give you a little more incentive to head out into the downpour, the store’s also offering customization on the brand’s rain boots. With full footwear options for men, women and children alike, there’s definitely something for every footwear fanatic. And as a bonus, the shop is the very first place you can shop the Spring 2015 collection, so get to steppin’.

Havaianas is located at 6333 West Third Street, at the Original Farmers Market, in Los Angeles. For more information, visit www.havaianas.com.
