If colors correspond to the calendar, then most people wouldn’t associate the color pink with the current date or season. Winter is usually more about somber shades of grey, navy, and black, but we’re rooting for a bit of blush. And why not? There’s no reason a pop of pink or a touch of rose can’t play with your cold-weather staples. Think of it as an injection of pep (not Pepto) and you’ll find it’s pretty easy to incorporate some pink into anything you’ve got going on in your closet.
Designers are feeling the pull of pink, too, giving shoppers a chance to grab pink bags in every hue. Sweet blush bags are a universal staple at this point, but brighter pinks and poppy-colored bag are having some time in the spotlight, too. Consider this: a navy peacoat is the perfect neutral canvas to show off your latest bag buy. And when spring rolls around, you won’t even have to think about changing your bag. Being ahead of the curve was never this easy.
