Bonobos’ Sister Brand AYR Arrives at Nordstrom

After hitting the scene in 2013, Bonobos’ little sister brand AYR is about to make an even bigger splash by partnering with Nordstrom stores. For the first time, AYR — which stands for All Year Round — will be available in select brick and mortar locations as well as Nordstrom’s website, brining the brand’s most popular styles to shoppers off of their computers.

“We’re beyond excited to launch our first brick-and-mortar partnership with Nordstrom this week,” says Maggie Winter, AYR’s Co-Founder and Brand Director. “AYR is obsessed with delivering excellent product and service, and Nordstrom is best-in-class in both.”

The curated selection at Nordstrom’s Individualist department whittles down the 75-plus collection available at AYR’s site to four of the brand’s biggest sellers. Naturally, denim — all L.A. made, BTW — is on offer in the brand’s best-selling skinny fit ($175). In addition, two shirt styles are available as well as an on-trend menswear inspired coat. And speaking of denim, AYR is offering $1 try ons for the skinny jeans through its own site. For just a buck, they’ll send prospective shoppers up to three pairs of skinny jeans and give them a week to try them out. If they’re a keeper — and trust us, these jeans are good — credit cards get charged the remaining balance. And if not, a dollar isn’t much to lose. AYR reports that over 75% of new customers keep the jeans after trying them on. But for those in need of instant gratification, Nordstrom stores — and AYR’s New York HQ — are the only places you can find them in the flesh.
