These Wrap Dresses Are Ready To Party

The wrap dress may get a bad…rap sometimes (we couldn’t resist), but don’t discount it as a work-only piece that you slip on when there’s nothing else clean. For the holidays, labels are giving the cubicle staple new life with embellishment, cocktail-ready fabrics like velvet and burnout, and flashes of metallic. It just goes to show that a sleeper hit doesn’t necessarily have to be sleepy.

No more complaining about the cold, because we’ve picked a few frocks with sleeves and even a velvet number or two to stave off the cold, which manages to creep into SoCal once in a while. And while these do work from office to cocktail party, we would recommend saving the more flashy numbers for a special occasion. You would’t want your coworkers to catch a case of the missing-out blues.
