Beauty for Boobies: Do Good with Your Favorite Brands!

At the risk of stating the painfully obvious, pink is the official color of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s become so ubiquitous in October — from the NFL to your favorite beauty counter — that it’s easy to lose sight of what it has come to mean. While the pretty hue is in fashion all year round in the realm of blushes, lipsticks and glosses, the hue takes on special meaning every October for The Estée Lauder companies have, which pioneered the tradition to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness. Evelyn Lauder established the BCRF in ’93, and other beauty giants have followed it its well-heeled footsteps.

From skin care to color cosmetics and even home fragrance, we’ve gathered together our favorite pink picks so you can get glam while doing good. And while many brands only give a percentage of proceeds, snag that huge bottle of cult-favorite Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer and the company will donate $10 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Nest is donating 10% of proceeds from the purchase of the Passion candle. Feel free to stock up, because trends may come and go, but pink never goes out of style.
