Clinique Teams with Helen Hunt’s Ride

Last year, Clinique debuted its #StartBetter campaign, which encourages women (and men) to do just that: start their days a little bit better. Whether that’s just having a more positive outlook or loving, helping or daring to do something new each and every day. The initiative’s video has already racked up over 1.4 million views on Youtube, but it’s about to get even bigger. The Clinique #StartBetter campaign is teaming with the world premiere of Ride, a major motion picture written, directed by and starring Helen Hunt.

In the film, magazine editor Jackie (played by Helen Hunt) chases down her college-dropout son (Brenton Thwaites). But along the way, Clinique worked to create looks that reflected on Jackie’s evolution, starting in the Big Apple and developing it to a more sun-kissed, free-spirited look when she arrives on the shores of Los Angeles.

For Jackie’s polished New York look, Clinique used products such as its new Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer ($27) and Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick ($16). As the film progresses, the makeup looks get more casual and natural, using products such as Clinique’s Moisture Surge CC Cream ($35) and the line’s cult-favorite Cheek Pop ($21) and Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm ($16) when she starts to embrace the surf culture of California.
