Leave it to bite beauty to get right to the good stuff. The line is known for its covetable, creamy lipsticks with bold, bright colors and deep pigment, but the line’s new release might just be the richest yet. The Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick ($28) might look odd thanks to its squared off top, but that hand cut edge is what sets this lipstick apart from the rest.
“I was obsessed with creating the creamiest lipstick texture ever possible, and when I created this hand-cut technique in the lab, I knew it was the one,” says Susanne Langmuir, Founder and CEO of Bite Beauty. “It creates a texture that is hands-down habit-forming. Nothing I have ever tried compares to this impossibly creamy texture filled with good-for-you ingredients.”
Most lipsticks, whether they’re from Bite or not, have waxes in their formula. And because of the nature of their formulas, the wax spreads to the outer layer of a lipstick. That means that the core of a lipstick is richer and creamier that the rest. So Bite took it upon themselves to slice off the tip and let you get straight to the good stuff: the core.
And inside the creamy core, you’ll find a combination of lavender, shea, almond, pomegranate and chamomile butters to keep your lips soft and nourished while you show off the wide range of shades. Available in everything from bold reds and berries to nudes and browns, there’s a shade for every girl and every mood.
Available at Sephora.
