NARS Dual Intensity Blush
NARS already boasts one of the best blushes on the market. It’s a cult favorite that has devoted fans ranging from professional makeup artists to beauty obsessives and normal girls alike. It seems that nobody at all can resist the allure of Orgasm blush or the vibrancy of Exhibit A. But the brand’s newest release, the Nars Dual Intensity Blush ($45), might just be the thing to take the crown from those beloved blushes.
What set the new formula apart? It can be used wet or dry, just like Nars’ latest eyeshadow formula. Each compact also contains a pair of shades which work together as a highlight and blush or swirled together for a third color. Used dry, the blushes impart a glowy, light wash of color that’ll last all day long. But used wet, the shades intensify and really stand the test of time. In fact, when used damp, these blushes are practically bulletproof. The range of shades (there are six on offer) range from vibrant pinks and peaches to more subtle tawnies and buff shades. And because Nars is known for pushing the envelope, there are a few shades that you definitely won’t find anywhere else. A golden tangerine or a rosy copper blush might seem strange, but it’s the perfect shade for deeper skinned ladies and bombshells that want to enhance their tans. All the shades are slightly shimmery, so steer clear if you’re a fan of matte blushes, but for beauty junkies, these brand new blushes are sure to be a new favorite.
