But the glam treatment is getting even more Insta-ready with the brand’s latest release, a collab that combines nostalgia with Glamglow’s futuristic formula. The Glamglow x My Little Pony Glittermask Gravitymud ($59) brings together Glamglow’s signature Gravitymud with a hefty dose of glitter, making for a skincare treatment that’s so pretty, you might not want to wash it off.
But don’t discount this as child’s play. No, the three new glittering shades—pink, black, and purple—pack in everything that makes Gravitymud a favorite: Teaoxi complex, which combines licorice and marshmallow leaf; Vizitight, which firms with marine algae plasma and biodefine polymers; Lunarlift, derived from red algae and soy isoflavone; and Cosmiplexion, a combination of hyaluronic acid, glacial clay, and Icelandic kelp. While the glitter is only added for the perfect selfie, it’s one way that the creators of Glamglow are proving that serious skincare can have a dash of fun. Take plenty of selfies after slathering on a thick layer of the good stuff and peel it right off after about half an hour. The glitter goes in the trash, so there’s no fear of tainting oceans with your me time. It even comes with an applicator to make things super easy and keep your hands clean to get to your smartphone. Used twice a week, the formula can’t promise that you’ll be imbued with the power of the Ponies, but your skin will certainly look out of this world.
