Get it Now: Urban Decay’s Troublemaker Mascara

Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara

Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara

Every mascara claims to do it all: length, volume, separation, blacker-than-black inky pigments, and the ability to turn zucchini into super-healthy noodles. Well, maybe not the last one. Trendy food aside, the latest release from O.C.’s Urban Decay really does do it all and offers up a pretty sweet package for it, too.

The new Urban Decay Troublemaker Mascara ($24) promises 13.7 times the volume. And that’s not an empty promise. Unlike other brands, UD used a 3-D volume effect analysis on a pool of 34 different women, so the line has the hard evidence to back up its claims. Fronted by Nicole Richie, the new mascara uses a combination of hollow silica and ultra-light fibers to pump up lash volume without weighing them down. That means no curl droop, plenty of long, long length, and a weightless feel that’ll stay put all day long. No flaking. No smearing. No smudging, no matter where you’re headed or what you’re doing. With two kinds of black pigment, there’s no darker, deeper mascara out there. Combined with vitamin E and panthenol, it’s a good-for-lashes formula, too.

While the packaging looks cool on its own, inside, the brush has tiny micro hooks to grab onto each and every lash, no matter how short or small it may be. That means inner-corner lashes get gripped just as well as the longer, bolder middle lashes. Plus, UD’s cofounder, Wende Zomnir, even says that the mascara is sex-proof, making it great for scandalous nights and more tame ones alike.

Don’t believe us? Wende has proof. Check out the before and after clips in the video, below.
