Blow dry bars are becoming just as common as Starbucks locations and Crossfit gyms, but that doesn’t mean that every single on is up to snuff. Sometimes, you can feel like you’re going through an assembly line, with blow dry technicians styling everyone up to look like a Real Housewife. But Sassoon Salon is out to set the gold standard in blow drys and styling with its new Blow & Style menu, which offers up a diverse range of styles executed with the precision of a true artist, following in the legacy of its founder Vidal Sassoon.
“The difference is in the detail,” Costa Mesa Creative Director, Edward Tedeschi says. “Vidal’s legacy of unstinting attention to hair perfection keeps us at the forefront of Hair Design today.”
The new Blow & Style menu at Sassoon Salon lets clients come in for a quick — but thorough — styling experience. The menu includes Sassoon’s signature sleek and straight look as well as two wavy options, the beach wave and curly wave, which are relaxed and more formal, respectively.
But blow drys aren’t the only thing on offer. The Style portion of the menu includes a variety of different braiding options, including a fishtail style, an elaborate French brand that recalls the side-shave phenomenon of 2014 and more. There’s even a disheveled ponytail that’s anything but an afterthought — it comes complete with hair covering the elastic and volume at the crown for a glam take on an everyday hair staple.
The Sassoon Salon Blow & Style menu includes a shampoo, a massage service and a conditioning treatment as well as the styling and blow-dry starting at $45 for a blow out and $25 for a style, though prices can go up depending on each client’s hair.
