Blake Lively wears a piece from the Amour Vert x Preserve.us collection
Designing woman. Blake Lively, she of the CW sudser Gossip Girl, is adding one more project to her off-screen endeavors. She may be known as a model and actress, but last year, Lively not only had a baby, she debuted Preserve.us, a lifestyle set in the vein of Gwyneth Paltrow’s goop and Martha Stewart’s empire of good things. While her site was met with some criticism, it has persevered and now, is set to expand. Lively has teamed with San Francisco-based eco-brand Amour Vert for a capsule collection that will be available exclusively on her e-commerce site. The Amour Vert x Preserve.us collection is set to debut tomorrow, giving Lively’s fans — and fans of the Vogue-approved Amour Vert — one more way to get a piece of Lively’s lifestyle.
“Blake is very knowledgeable when it comes to color composition, styling and garment construction,” Amour Vert Co-Founder and CEO Christoph Frehsee said in a press release for the collaboration. “She has a fantastic eye and attention to detail,” Co-Founder and Creative Director Linda Balti added.
Lively announced the collab via Instagram, claiming that while she’s not one to actually sketch and draw, the collection is something she’s very excited about. Two of the pieces, including the dress she wore in her Insta post, are already available for pre-sale, while the rest of the 12-piece collection will debut (and undoubtedly sell out) June 5. While Lively is modeling a frock (and has also given her fans a sneak peek of another), the capsule collection will also include t-shirts. And, in keeping with Amour Vert’s green fashion ethos, the brand will plant a tree for every tee sold.

But Blake’s not stopping there. In addition to this capsule with Amour Vert, Lively has been working with another label that hits a little closer to home — for us, at least. She’s been working with L.A.-based contemporary label Sam & Lavi for another capsule collection. She chose the local label for a Preserve shoot to show off her bump (the look quickly sold out, to the surprise of no one) and has been spotted in a palm-printed jumpsuit from her upcoming capsule collection. Details are scarce on the Sam & Lavi collection, but make sure to click over to Preserve.us early tomorrow to snag the pieces from the Amour Vert x Preserve.us collection. Don’t say we didn’t warn you — nothing’s worse than scouring eBay because you decided to sleep in.
