Ashley Judd for Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque
Every year, in celebration of Earth Day, Kiehl’s releases a special collection of celebrity endorsed products to fête green initiatives and give their fans one more reason to snatch up a few favorite products. This year, Kiehl’s teams up with Ashley Judd — who you can currently see on the big screen in Divergent — and Recycle Across America for a special limited-edition release of the brand’s beloved Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque ($23).
Judd designed the label for the limited-edition release, but what’s inside hasn’t changed. The mask is formulated with fair-trade Amazonian white clay sourced from Marajo Island. This special clay is known for its skin detoxification properties, drawing out impurities and leaving your skin fresh and clean without feeling stripped or dry. The mask also adds a special blend of oatmeal and aloe vera to help soothe redness and irritation while softening and comforting your skin. Bentonite also absorbs oils and reduces shine with regular use, so it’s a definite must in your skincare regimen as the temps rise.
When you purchase a tub of this miracle mask, Kiehl’s will donate 100% of proceeds (up to $50,000) to Recycle Across America, a non-profit organization that’s out to make sure that recycling is easy and straightforward for everyone. Currently, Recycle Across America is working to introduce national standardized labels for recycling bins across the country.
