We’ve all been waiting for the new season of Mad Men to premiere, but trust us when we say that the madness, so to speak, for the show hasn’t abated even between seasons. After a successful collection in Fall 2011 (it didn’t last but a few days), the second Banana Republic Mad Men Collection bows just in time for the season premiere.

The collection debuted on a Virgin America flight from JFK to LAX yesterday, with models walking the plane in the new clothes. With a select group of bloggers sitting in those leather seats– along with some befuddled commuters–everyone got a sneak peek at the collection before the Mad Style parties being held in Banana Republic stores nationwide begin.

In stores today, the range of women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, designed by Janie Bryant, naturally, are perfect for weekends in Palm Springs or the Hamptons (model Shalom Harlow shows off everything from cocktail-ready frocks to cropped pants and candy-hues perfect for polo matches by her stand-in Don Draper, David Gandy). The guys have tipped polos, navy blazers and country club staples to choose from. Whether you’re looking for wardrobe staples or needing a few retro accents pieces, we’d recommend you get to your local Banana Republic fast — this collection is sure to sell out just as fast as the last one.

One thing about Mad Men that has seduced viewers since the first episode is the period-accurate beauty. Red lips and old school rouge have been staples for every Joan and Betty, so it’s no surprise that Estée Lauder jumped at the chance to release their own Mad Men collection. Exclusively at Bloomingdale’s counters, the two-piece collection includes a cherry-red lipstick encased in a fluted gold bullet and a aquamarine-accented gilt compact containing a cream blush that all but guarantees the perfect flush,  whether you’re busting balls in the boardroom or looking to seduce your own ad exec. Not in the mood for scandal? We’d recommend steering clear from this collection: One swipe of that lipstick and you better prepare yourself for major drama.

Wait, there’s more: You’ll get a carved wooden box and a signed copy of Roger Sterling’s advice tome, Sterling’s Gold (signed by series creator Matthew Weiner, not Sterling himself, unfortunately).
