SoCal’s Vans Teams Up with Liberty Art Fabrics for a Summer Collab

Taylor Swift might have her own line with Keds, but we think that she’d stray for these perfect summer kicks that come courtesy Vans and Liberty Art Fabrics. The Transatlantic collaboration (the third for the companies) is the perfect choice for those girls, like Swift, who are fans of the sneakers with dresses look. But even if you’re more about skateboards than summer flings, these shoes are a great way to update your staples with a high-fashion spin.

In a season of high fashion skate shoes (think Céline, Bottega Veneta and even contemporary labels such as Vince), you don’t have to shell out half your rent check for a pair of skatepark-ready kicks. Vans are, after all, the original, so it’s got the street cred to back up its couture collab. The latest Liberty Art Fabrics collection includes three different iconic Vans styles done up in prints from the Arts & Crafts movement. Grab the golden paisley for a real throwback (the print back to the beginning of Liberty back in 1875) or opt for the Sk-8 Hi top in a more feminine pink-flecked floral. They’re a fresh take on one of summer’s biggest trends, but if a print from 1875 is looking this fresh now, we think it’ll look pretty great a few seasons from now, too.

The Vans x Liberty collection is available now and range from $60-80.
