Trina Turk Finding Dory Collection
L.A. lady Trina Turk has been slowly adding to her empire. She’s expanded her retail presence by adding more stores, adding to her own line with the addition of accessories, and even offering up more options for guys in the Mr. Turk line. But the latest move by the designer is sure to make some waves. Disney has enlisted our favorite print maven for a special collection inspired by its latest full-length animated feature, Finding Dory.
In case you’ve somehow missed the memo, the sequel to Finding Nemo is set to hit theaters on June 17th and Trina Turk is celebrating the occasion with a capsule collection featuring a brand-new print sprinkled with Disney whimsey and inspired by the film. The collection includes bathing suits, dresses, tunics, handbags, and accessories for grown-up fans and little ones, too. The print is perfect for summer, combining bright hues and touches of bold color perfect for polo matches and picnics as well as evening trips to the movies and beach days — a true testament to Turk’s wear-everywhere design prowess. Bags and cosmetic pouches come adorned with cute Dory and Nemo charms, but our favorite pieces have to be the bikini and the romper. There’s no better way to channel your inner Disney fan. (And who doesn’t have that underneath the surface? We pity those poor, unfortunate souls.)
