Between creating must-have frames, monocles and a certain Google tech product, the designers at Warby Parker managed to squeeze in a collaboration with a summer blockbuster, too. Fresh off its Gatsby-inspired 1922 collection, the label created a limited run of frames inspired by Clark Kent in Man of Steel.

In addition to expanding its operation by adding brick-and-mortar showrooms in New York and Boston, the brand is out to dress superheros and civilians alike in two frames (guys and girls each get two styles) inspired by the classic comic character. And while no images of Clark Kent wearing his signature frames have yet to be released to the masses, Warby Parker created a classic black frame, the Chamberlain, as well as a more avant garde rounded tortoise option, the Percey, which is also available with sunglass lenses. Both frames feature a flash of color — red or blue — at the temples as an homage to Superman’s signature colors.

And like every other Warby Parker purchase, the Man of Steel collection is available for virtual try-on so that no telephone booths are necessary for anyone looking to go undercover. Also like every other Warby Parker purchase, a second pair will be donated to someone in need. Warby Parker is also upping the ante by donating $15 from each frame’s purchase to 826NYC, a nonprofit organization that works with kids to improve their writing skills.
