Lucky Shops LA And We’ve Got an Exclusive For You!

Lucky Shops LA

Let's talks firsts...No, not the naughty kind. Fashion firsts. There have been a lot of them at Lucky Magazine this past year, since new-ish Editor-in-Chief Brandon Holley took the helm this past September. Holley, who honed her print editorial experience at publications such as Jane and ElleGirl and who brings with her a dynamic, new media sensibility from her stint at Yahoo! Shine has been keen to connect with both readers and bloggers, whom she features heavily in the magazine. As a way of courting and connecting them both, Holley has launched several exclusive new initiatives. One of our personal favorite firsts was the FABB Lucky Blogger Conference during social media week this past February.Michelle Dalton Tyree at the Lucky FABB conference

The all-day conference, attended by about 100 hand-selected fashion and beauty blogs, featured stellar panels with guests such as Tory Burch, J. Crew’s Jenna Lyons and the utterly inappropriate and simultaneously endearing Joan Rivers, as well as a great crop of notable bloggers and execs from brands such as Coach, Lancome, Foursquare, Tumblr, Bergdorf Goodman and more.

“I see high-low, not head-to-toe [dressing],” said Holley at the FABB conference. “It’s the way that Lucky has always been.”

And now one of those “firsts” is landing right in Fashion Trends Daily’s own backyard. In keeping with the high-low zeitgeist that has not only become Lucky’s aesthetic but the shopping ethos of many women, is yet another fabulous Lucky first: Lucky Shops L.A. For two, fashion-filled days April 8-9, Lucky Shops will be at Siren Studios in L.A., hosting all manner of fashion mavens eager to get their mitts on pieces from their favorite designers at up to 70% off retail. Some of the many designers featured include: Theory, House of Harlow 1960, James Jeans, Pade Vavra, Geren Ford, Kate Spade, Helmut Lang, Corey Lynn Calter, Havaianas and many, many more.

And in pure Lucky style, there will, of course, be complimentary cocktails (for those of us who are legal), giveaways, music and other goodies! More details are below.
