If you’ve been waiting with bated breath for COS (short for Collection of Style) to open its doors in L.A. or NY, you can get a little bit of a reprieve with the brand’s latest announcement: E-Commerce is now live. So make some room in your closet for some sleek, sophisticated pieces from H&M’s sister brand, because the once-elusive label is ready to make its stateside debut.
Beloved by fashion editors and style bloggers from across the pond, COS has been dipping its toes into American retail with specialty pop-ups inside Opening Ceremony in both Los Angeles and New York. If you’ve been lucky enough to visit these special installations, you’ll already be familiar with COS’ brand of sleek minimalism. But for those who haven’t had the chance, just know that COS isn’t the fast fashion mega-store that H&M is. Instead, the brand is known for clean, minimal designs that are priced significantly higher than H&M. Think Céline, Jil Sander and Calvin Klein Collection instead of hyper-trendy pieces that you’ll only wear for a season or two. At COS, dresses average about $100 and blazers hover around $140 for women and men can browse $100 jeans and suiting that comes in at around $250.
The brand’s E-Commerce has arrived just in time to give shoppers a taste of the brand’s unique take on contemporary fashion before it sets up shop this fall. COS plans on opening up in NY’s SoHo neighborhood and L.A.’s Beverly Hills, giving shoppers on each coast a taste of the Swedish import’s line. Online and in-store, the brand has full lines of ready-to-wear and accessories for men, women and even children.
As a bonus, first-time shoppers can sign up for the brand’s newsletter to receive 25% off their purchases until June 7 with the code HELLOAMERICA and COS is offering free shipping on all orders until June 30.
