L.A. and New York aren’t the only places obsessed with Isabel Marant. After she gained worldwide attention with those wedge sneakers and a home run collaboration with Swedish fast fashion brand H&M, just about everyone wanted a piece of Marant’s unique brand of bohemian Parisian chic. The Melrose Place location attracts Hollywood’s brightest fashion fans, but it’s been tough to grab the brand if you’re not in SoCal — until May, that is. The French label has confirmed that it’s coming to San Francisco.

In just a few months, the City by the Bay is going to get its very own Isabel Marant boutique. And like the brand’s other outposts, the SF store will have its own design and feel. The New York SoHo spot — another celeb magnet — features a wooden installation for smaller accessories while the L.A. location is modeled after a midcentury desert oasis with mobiles and raw wood throughout. Both locations carry the main Isabel Marant line and the designer’s contemporary label, Etoile Isabel Marant, and we don’t doubt that the SF store will do the same. There’s no word yet on what look and feel the San Francisco store will have, but we’re sure it’ll be a regular stop for the city’s fashionable shoppers. And Marant is also skipping out on the most liekly location, too, by eschewing Union Square and its luxe labels and opting for the quieter, more arts and antique-focused Jackson Square. While that’s not out of the way, per se, it just means the shop will be a destination, which is probably just how Marant planned it.
