Sweet dreams are made of these: Anna Sui’s new bedding collection, which is the latest addition to her already stellar lineup of lifestyle products. She’s already got accessories, beauty products– including cult-fave nail polishes and a bevy of fragrance in addition to her apparel lines–but with this new project Sui style can now swirl around your home as well as your closet.
Inspired by a trip she took to India with her nieces, the collection is a riff on patterns like paisleys and florals. Anna and her family visited a factory and tried their hand at wood-blocking, a traditional technique of printmaking. After printing their own patterns, Sui decided that the best way to showcase the patterns and motifs she saw in the factory would be on bedding.
The result? Sui’s signature purple mixed with black and gold. The complete bedding line includes quilts, sheets, Euro shams, garments bags, cosmetic cases and more. Another influence her nieces had? The Dorm Set, which is perfect for college-bound fashion fans, which includes a drawstring bag containing a quilt, bed cover and quilted sham that will have every roommate seething with jealousy.

Will this foray into home mean Sui’s out for a complete lifestyle collection à la Ralph and Tommy? We wouldn’t put it past her. She’s got a loyal legion of fans that stock up on everything from her contemporary fashions at department stores to her exclusive pieces at Anthropologie (which recently released a series of Sui archival pieces to celebrate the designer’s three decades in the industry). For now, they’ll have to settle on Sui’s NY flagship to get their fix for this bedding. And the rest of us can grab it online at Sui’s virtual store.
