After a few months of waiting, Clare V. has finally landed in West Hollywood. Taking over the old A.P.C. space, L.A.’s numero uno bag lady is giving locals and shopping tourists (it’s just a few steps away from DASH, after all) a new spot to snag her covetable accessories.
The new store is the designer’s most stunning to date. While her Silverlake flagship might have set the tone for the brand’s retail experience, the new shop expands on it and offers up the line’s signature pouches, bags and fanny packs in an airy, open space that perfectly embodies Clare V.’s Parisian-by-way-of-L.A. style. You’ll find the full range of accessories on offer, but sprinkled in among the bags and more are books, jewelry, found objects and even plants — and it’s all for sale.

Designed by Kate McCollough, the gal behind Proenza Schouler’s store designs, the space is the perfect balance of high-end and scavenger-hunt style shopping. With vintage books and magazines sitting alongside the leather goods, tech accessories and more, there’s something for bookish babes and the handbag-obsessed alike.
