Cozy Up to Fall’s Top Quilted Bags, Shoes and More

You can blame it on Chanel (in fashion, that’s not an uncommon argument). Quilted bags are the brand’s bread and butter, but the house of Coco isn’t the only place that you can snatch up a quilted beauty. And it’s not just for bags either, because designers are using quilted leather on shoes and more, even this season’s most unnecessary necessity: the backpack. This season, designers have updated classic quilting by playing with scale and shape, offering quilted leather goods in the usual suspects such as squares, but also stitching different geometric designs, too. Find soft quilting on Skullcandy’s headphones and on Marc by Marc Jacobs’ sweet-as-sugar heart bag, which adds a touch of whimsy to the serious business of quilted bags.
