Mayle is coming to L.A.

What’s army green, borrows flowers from a neon kimono and so wants to be love incarnate?

The Mayle Kamikaze pop-up store in L.A. Like, duh!

OK, truthfully, we didn’t know what the fig to make of that either when we saw it on the evite that arrived in our in-box today. But who cares when the answer is that Mayle is coming to L.A! We repeat, fashion MAYLE-vens: Mayle is coming to L.A.

Not too long ago we revealed to you the most recent secret New York pop-up store location for the beloved brand, which had shuttered its NoLita doors in 2009 to the tears of diehard fans, only to make a couple of ethereal resurrections this fall to insiders hot for the clothes with the famous cameo label and fabulously feminine designs.

Well, Angelenos, we have news for you: The Mayle Kamikaze Full of Love Pop-up (NO, we didn’t smoke something and make that name up, too,we swear) hits Melrose Avenue for 10 days only starting December 3.

The event, billed by the fabulous minds at Mayle as a “ten-day rush and tumble of beauty falling from a sunset streaked sky,” may sound a bit, well, intoxicating if you will, but we can hardly wait to inhale some of Jane Mayle’s fabulously feminine frocks and blouses and bags, oh my! We’ve got holiday parties aplenty to go to, and we’re counting on Mayle to set the mood. Let the stealth shopping begin!
