Gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition a few times wasn’t enough for Josie Maran (she was also on a season of Dancing With the Stars, just so you know). Bringing the secret of argan oil to her fans at Sephora, Maran’s line of cosmetics has earned more than just a cult following. With professional makeup artists using her products, Allure choosing her prods for top honors year after year and stints on QVC, she’s now bringing her eco-friendly beauty line to the masses. Stella McCartney Masai Arden Faux Nappa Tall Boot

No one does green chic like Stella, who turns out chic Peta-approved looks every season. Stella’s a vegan and a fan of PETA, but more than anything, she a seasoned designer who knows how to deliver her luxury. This tall boot looks like leather and feels like it (a hard sell for any other faux-skin, trust us).  Right on trend and with a high-fashion price tag to boot. Pun intended.

Hermés Petit H Collection

While a luxury house like Hermés might not be the first brand you’d associate with green practices, they’ve collaborated with a slew of artists and artisans for the new Petit H collection. Using scraps of leather and castoffs from Birkins, Kellys and more, the house has conjured up everything from croc leather coffee cup holders (they’re available for monogramming, so if you lose yours at Starbucks, you might get it back) to $100,000 calfskin panda plushes. The piece we’re dying to try? An alligator swing set. This “upcycling” initiative is available while it tours the globe at in-store pop-ups.
