French Dressing: Our Top Red Carpet Looks from Cannes

The red carpet never sees a break. From awards season to movie premieres and film festivals, there’s always a gown to be admired, shoes to covet and celebrities snagging runway looks right off the models’ backs. And the most glam carpet happening right now is definitely the Cannes Film Festival. The international hot ticket draws actors, actresses and yes, models, to the South of France and it’s idyllic oceanside events. The world is focused on all the gowns, glowing skin and yes, they might even be paying attention to a movie or two, but the flashbulbs are all turned to the red carpet. We’ve gathered together our favorite looks from the past few days, including avant-garde showstoppers from Chanel Haute Couture, flowing goddess gowns and unexpected choices from some of Hollywood’s leading ladies. And just because, we had to throw in Mr. Ryan Gosling, who came out of hiding for Lost River, his directorial debut, and to show everyone that he’s still a master of the red carpet.
