Shailene Woodley has been on a red carpet roll while promoting Divergent, her latest film (which is sure to be the newest teen dystopian sensation). From a sari-inspired Elie Saab to a lace-trimmed Stella McCartney that recalled the signature color of Dauntless’ rival faction Erudite, she’s hit it out of the park whenever she steps foot onto a carpet. But our favorite has to be a mosaic-embellished Elie Saab jumpsuit, which puts Woodley firmly into the ranks of Young Hollywood’s red carpet rebels such as Emma Watson and Jennifer Lawrence.
Leading lady Woodley let the suit stand for itself with no accessories at all, paring it with a bright orange lip and sleek, slick hair. The result is a clean, modern look that we’re hoping replaces the humdrum jewel-toned premieres that we’re all accustomed to.
Woodley’s Elie Saab jumpsuit stands out from something you might find at your local department store thanks to a panel of embellishment. While it is beautiful, it does make her jumpsuit more appropriate for after-dark play than for day-to-dusk dressing. We love the Trina Turk Manhattan Jersey Jumpsuit ($228) because it’s a great, versatile piece that you can wear to work (the cap sleeves and not-so-deep V make it perfect for offices and casual work spaces alike) and it’s sexy enough to stand out from a sea of cocktail frocks as soon as you clock out. So go bold with this daring silhouette, you’re sure to get more than just a second glance.

1. For fans of bold, bright gold, the Gianvito Rossi point-toe leather pumps ($592) are the only way to go. They’ll gleam and shine with every step you take.
2. For a more muted take on gold pumps, the MICHAEL Michael Kors Elisa pump ($135) are easier on the wallet and the eyes. The more burnished finish makes these shoes perfect for pairing with denim and LBDs alike.
3. For a red carpet worthy glow just like Shailene Woodley’s, dab just a few drops of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector SPF 25+ ($41), a favorite of makeup artists, onto the high points of your cheekbones for picture-perfect bone structure.
4. Bring up orange lipstick and there’s one shade that everyone knows: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture in Le Orange ($32). The cult favorite color is the gold standard that every other orange lippie is compared to, so why not go with the original?
5. And for a softer take on gold, the Kate Spade New York Licorice Pump ($328) is available in a bronze for those who value subtlety and also a rose gold for all those red carpet rebels.
