On and off the court, Dwyane Wade is making big waves in the world of menswear — he juggles his time between the Miami Heat and his own RunWade charity fashion show as well as a collection of socks with Orange County-based Stance — but its his latest collab that has sports fans and the peacocks of the menswear world talking: The Gentleman by Dwyane Wade, a capsule collection of mens furnishings (that’s fashion talk for ties, tie bars, cufflinks and pocket squares) with Fashion Trends Daily favorite the Tie Bar.

“Style has always been a personal interest of mine,” says Wade. “I already own so many bow ties and ties from The Tie Bar, so I am excited to step into the designer’s seat and create my own line with them.”

Wade has been working with The Tie Bar since June, and his collection debuted November 20. The exclusive collection is huge, featuring 29 bow ties, 15 neckties, and 15 pocket squares altogether, giving guys something to choose from no matter where they’re headed.

Fashion-leaning fans of Wade can opt for bright camo print ties or geometrics patterns while those less prone to peacocking can opt for polka dots and plaids (there’s nary a solid in the traditional long-tie department). Wade’s bow tie designs do offer more subdued solids, but we’re sure that fans of Wade’s personal style will be picking up the chevron patterns, bold buffalo plaids, polka dots and more.

In addition to ties and bow ties, the collection offers coordinating pocket squares and cufflink options. Each and every piece in the capsule collection gets special branding thanks to tags that read The Gentleman by Dwyane Wade by the Tie Bar in lieu of a traditional Tie Bar tag. Guys can also grab  days of the week tie clips if they feel the need to amp up their style to Wade’s All-Star standards. And like all Tie Bar ties, the Wade’s designs are available in traditional lengths or extra long (maybe he’ll be gifting a few to his NBA pals?).

With no plans on leaving the Heat just yet, Wade is spending plenty of the his off-season time building his design resume. A future in fashion doesn’t seem like such a bad move now, does it?
