Designers Dye for Rainbow Colored Hair

Rainbow Brite and the Color Kids weren’t spotted front row at any of the Fashion Week shows, but their look definitely made an impact on designers. The models’ hair at Thakoon was powdered with bright pink and hydrangea blue (though some of the coifs were obscured by bi-color cowboy hats) that had a definite “Beauty School Dropout” kind of vibe, minus Frankie Avalon. Over at Narciso Rodriguez, the designer eschewed his usual minimalism for sleek hair painted with hues of purple, orange, pink and yellow. And  Bebe showed models with white afros, meaning that if you have a few tubes of Manic Panic still lying around, it’s time to give your locks some love.
